PAYG Solar vs. Paying Upfront
Both options give you the same premium solar equipment and Energy Commission certification. The difference is how you pay.
✅ PAYG Plan — Most Popular (Small deposit · Monthly payments)
– Start with just 50% deposit
– Fixed monthly payments you can budget for
– Full installation from day one — no waiting to save up
– Optional Solar Insurance
– Early settlement available at any time
– Maintenance support during the payment period
– System fully yours at end of term
Full Upfront Payment (Pay 80% before installation and 20% after)
– No monthly payments after installation
– Slightly lower total cost
– Large lump sum required upfront
– Must wait until full funds are available
– Ties up capital that could be used elsewhere
– Less flexible for cash flow planning
– Solar insurance available as an add-on
